If an infringement of your copyright registered work is identified, the next step is to ask the infringing website administrators to remove the relevant material quickly without having to go to court.

The practical application of this, is a takedown notice, which is a formal request to anyone who is using your work without your permission to take it down immediately. Whether it is a search engine, a host of content or really anyone who publishes unauthorized work, they have to comply with the take down notice and remove the requested content. If the person doesn’t comply, you then have the option to take further legal action.

CopyrightsWorld provides both take down notices and court-ready reports. Please speak to our customer support team for further information on how to access them and the formal ways of using them.
